Cave Swallows cometh

It’s that time of the year, when “irruptive” Cave Swallows are blown by South winds to the east coast and Great Lakes. A single Cave Swallow was observed on the Allegheny Front Hawk Watch today in PA. The entire month of November is notoriously good for small waves of Caves to show up on Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Check all swallows (and there won’t be many!) very closely.
