This coming week’s long-range forecast includes some ideal weather (can you believe it!) for waterbird movements. Wednesday through Friday are composed of WNW, NNE, W winds, and W winds on Saturday. More on these potential movement days as we get farther along into the week. Yet, it’s good to see potential. The next major NNW low pressure system should unhinge the floodgates. No doubt that the consistent SW winds of the past TWO weeks has bottled up a vast number of waterfowl, loons, grebes, and gulls to our north. Let’s hope November graces us with more consistent typical fall weather and winds. If there were a King of NNW winds, it would indeed be November…
