WSW, still

Tuesday’s (18th) forecast calls for significantly lighter winds (8 mph), a drop from the high double-digit winds that have been ripping the lakefront this week. Direction is still south-based, so a large push of birds is not expected. Waterfowl will trickle through, with flocks of geese, pintail, scaup, and possibly even scoters (25 White-winged Scoters today from Headlands Beach SP fide Jerry Talkington).

Thursday (the 20th) is looking to be a STELLAR lakewatch day, with WNW winds at 22+ mph and a rain front & cold temps.
